Hear Mecca shows blind people the exact direction of the Qibla. Hear Mecca plays a sound when the iPhone is facing the right direction. The graphic interface also points you in the right direction and indicates the distance between you and the Qibla. The app works offline and can be used at home, at the office, during travel and abroad.
The app is an example of the possibilities of our 3D Augmented Reality Audio technology. Think of interactive audio guides, tours and games accessible for the visual impaired. Visit http://www.accessibility.nl/apps/ for more information.
Note: The app works on iPhone 3gs. But it works faster on later iPhone models.
